Editors of broadcast-quality programs require a means to preview and evaluate their video and audio in the best quality possible. Users in a file-based, networked environment often don’t need to ingest baseband video or audio, but still want to preview projects at the same quality level as the final, delivered output. HDSPARK Pro hardware provides the means to do this.
Based on the PCI Express form factor, it comes with a full version of our EDIUS nonlinear editing software as well as an HD/SD-SDI output board that supports full-resolution, real-time preview monitoring. Users of EDIUS 6 may purchase HDSPARK Pro in a standalone version without EDIUS software. HDSPARK Pro also features both AES/EBU digital and unbalanced analog audio outputs (via separate BNC connector and stereo RCA jacks respectively), for high-quality audio monitoring.
The HDSPARK Pro platform is available in two different configurations: one with a complete copy of our EDIUS 6 software, and a standalone version with only the HDSPARK Pro board.
The HDSPARK Pro solution also empowers you with constantly synched, full-resolution preview of effects and content directly from the EDIUS timeline.
EDIUS plus the HDSPARK Pro board can handle any mix of high- and standard-definition (HD and SD) video content; unlimited video, audio, title, and graphics layers; and any combination of real-time effects.

* TitleMotion Pro for EDIUS is not included in the software bundled with HDSpark
